COVID-19 Event Protocol

NACUSO’s top priority is the health and safety of our conference attendees, employees and event staff. In partnership with the Wynn and Encore Las Vegas, NACUSO is following all guidance, precautions and safety measures recommended by official government and local authorities.

Wynn and Encore Las Vegas Resort are continually known for their high standards, vast experience and leadership in health and safety protocol. Learn more about Wynn Las Vegas COVID-19 Restrictions, Health, & Safety Plan:

What to know before you attend:  Masks are required indoors in Las Vegas regardless of vaccination status - what this will look like to NACUSO attendees:

  • Effective July 30, 2021, face coverings became mandatory in all public indoor spaces throughout the state of Nevada.

  • All hotel employees, event staff, hotel guests and meeting attendees are required to wear a face covering throughout the resort.

  • Masks are available anytime from the hotel front desk and at the conference registration desk.

  • If you are unable to wear a face covering due to medical condition, you may wear a self-provided non-restrictive alternative such as a face shield.

  • Signage regarding face coverings is displayed throughout the resort property, informing guests of the state requirement, regardless of vaccination status.

  • Mask and sanitizer stations are located throughout the property.

  • Mask reminder announcements will be made during general session to address the following:

  • During hosted breakfasts and lunches, masks can be lowered or removed when you are actively eating or drinking

  • During hosted hospitality receptions, mask can be lowered when actively taking a drink or bite, but must be moved back in place during these social events

  • Speakers can remove their masks when on stage and walking to the podium and speaking.

  • Outdoor patios conveniently located by the meeting space will be available for attendees.

  • NACUSO is implementing a badge system that allows attendees to easily indicate their personal level of comfort with in-person interaction - below is what this will look like:
         - Green: I am ready to network, handshakes are okay with me!
         - Yellow: I am being cautious and prefer fist bumps and not standing too close while networking.
         - Red: I prefer no physical contact and 6’ social distancing.

NACUSO looks forward to safely and successfully holding an in person event. We ask that all attendees be respectful of others and allow for social distancing. If you are feeling ill or have had recent COVID-19 exposure, we respectfully ask that you not attend the NACUSO Network Conference. Please contact NACUSO at Shawna@nacuso.org if you have any questions.
